Currently four dissimilar Xiaomi phones have 108MP primary cameras – these are the Mi 10, Mi ten Pro, Mi Annotation x and Mi 10T Pro, all of which are mid-range or premium devices. However we could soon see i of the company's affordable phones utilise this super-loftier-res camera sensor too.

That message has been mangled in translation, as the original was written in Chinese, but the meaning is clear: Xiaomi has a new phone with the lawmaking 'J17' which has a 108MP main camera and another sensor paired with a telephoto macro lens.
